Our Portfolio

Arthur Desmarteaux is a multidisciplinary artist from Montréal. He recently developed a project evoking the religion of hockey which was exhibited in several galleries in Canada. As a printmaker, he creates large scale digitally composed photomontages from his photographs and pictures gleaned on the Internet. These pieces are imbued with current political and sociological states as they are composed with cut-out images broadcasted by mass-medias in printed or electronic forms. Desmarteaux privileges a total freedom of action, playfulness and a dark humor within his colorful drawings and installations. He unfolds a personal mythology by intermingling realism and fantastical representations. His next piece will involve a multi-channel audiovisual installation inspired by the new music of the spheres and recent astronomical discoveries. Desmarteaux obtained a MFA from Concordia University in 2017 and a BFA from Université du Québec à Montréal in 2003. He is a member of L’imprimerie, a printmaking center located in Hochelaga-Maisonneuve borough, Montréal.

Allison Moore is new media artist working with immersive and expanded cinema based in Montréal. She studied interdisciplinary arts and film production at Concordia University. For the past 15 years, she has crafted an independent practice participating in residencies, workshops, and exhibitions internationally. Her work has been programmed at Tokyo Arts and Space (Japan), 39art (Japan), OBORO Gallery (Montreal), Traverse Video (France), Museu de Arte de Belem (Brazil), Festival of Nouveau Cinéma (Montréal), FIFA Experimental (Montréal), and the Musée d’art contemporain des Laurentides. Her series of multi-screen video panoramas depict improbable landscapes referencing scenic dioramas. Her recent projects involve thematic inspirations of storytelling narratives in digital arts, video-mapping landscapes and architecture, site-specific public art and performance. Moore’s works reinterpret and rebuild the world as a metaphoric landscape in which sensitive beings are in synergy with their allegorical macrocosm. Her latest work Wunderkammer, a 35-screen video wall can be seen in Place-Des-Arts (Québec). She is currently creating a new media public art work for inside the newly renovated Grand Théâtre de Québec to launch in May 2020. Allison Moore’s projects are supported by Conseil des arts et des lettres du Quebec, SODEC and the Canada Council of the Arts.
